My grandmother loved the Farmers Almanac. She always went to buy it as soon as it was released to see what was in store for winter weather. The new 2017 version for winter 2016-2017 has been released on August 15, 2016! As a salesperson that travels on the road daily, I have also been buying the Farmers almanac to see when the major storms where going to hit. For the last 4 years, I have done a stay-vacation or stayed close to home for work on the weeks the weather looked like it was going to be really bad. I have had many friends get trapped on the thruway overnight in past years. The almanac has really helped me to prepare and so now I am forever a customer! It is the well worth the money spent!
In 2014 Buffalo had 7 feet of snow in the Buffalo Winter Storm Knife. I was home safe and warm with plenty of fresh food as I was prepared! In 2015-2016, Buffalo had a mild winter. Not much snow. For 2016-2017 winter, the Farmers Almanac is predicting that winter is back in full force with snow and bitter cold for the Northeast!
