Studymode: A Much Needed Writing/Reading Resource in My House!!

I don't quite understand it. I would pay to have a day just to read a book!! But my boys on the other hand, DO NOT like to read or write and wait to the very last minute to do essays or book reports for school.

I am forever preaching how reading makes them smarter and more knowledgable. As grammar school students years back and even now at high school and almost college level they look at me like I have 2 heads!

Right at this very moment in my 15 year olds life, he has to read “A Separate Peace” by John Knowles and write an essay before schools starts Septemeber 6th. It is August 18th and the book arrived from Amazon this past Wednesday. It is still sitting on my dining room table. I will force him to begin reading it this evening but I know he will have some comprehension issues for the simple fact he IS NOT INTERESTED in reading.

Fortunately, at the perfect timing, I have been introduced to a website called Study Mode that may just help him get the “full picture” of what is going on in the book and enable him to write a quality paper!

Here are some facts about Study Mode

-over 3,000,000 members
-over 4,000 new essays just entered into their database this week!
-almost 700,000 essays and papers to refer to

I looked up his book ” A Separate Peace” and the following list of items with partial summaries that he can access without being a member:
