This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TABASCO® Original Red. All opinions are 100% mine.
We are staying home for the Super Bowl this year and the kids are having friends over. Their favorite snack dip is Buffalo Chicken Wing dip, my favorite soup is Buffalo Chicken Wing Soup and hubby’s favorite is Homemade Pizza( of course dipped in hot sauce and blue cheese!) so that is going to be our game day menu! A perfect menu for teenagers.
All of these dishes require hot sauce and of course my stockpile contains quite a few bottles of McIlhenny Tabasco Sauce because of store deals and manufacturer coupons! But coupons are not the only reason it is in my stockpile. I will not buy something just because I have a coupon- I have to like the product.
McIlhenny’s has launched their new campaign “So Much More than Hot” and I am happy to help spread the word because I actually do not like “hot” sauce. In my opinion, it kills the taste of your food. Not in the case of TABASCO® Original Red sauce. Their simple recipe of salt, red pepper and vinegar actually enhances the taste of your food because it has been perfected over a 3 year aging process. Yumm…just writing this post is making me crave the Buffalo Wing Soup!
Here is the recipe if you want to try it for your game day party:
* 6 cups milk
* 3 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup, undilute
* 3 cups shredded cooked chicken
* 1 cup sour cream
* 1/4 cup hot pepper sauce
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
While you are there, make sure to print out the $.50/1 coupon so you can get Tabasco sauce for free at Wegmans until 3/2/11! What a perfect time to buy Tabasco Original Red!
