Here's to you and yours in 2014!

Steps to Create a List of Intentions 2014

Here’s a process to begin preparing now so you can energize it, today, January 1, 2014 at the new moon. Approach it as a blessing and it will be! If you feel resistance to New Year’s intentions, ask yourself what part of you is resisting and why you would resist manifesting your own good. This is a gift for you 🙂

Here are the steps:

1) Find a quiet place and tune out distractions and center yourself in your heart. Do some deep breathing to relax and let go.

2) Reflect and remember 2013 and previous years and think of what kinds of specific things to include in your intentions list for 2014. Take time to think this through. Choose the things that come to your mind first that will make you more peaceful and happy. When you are peaceful and content, you can achieve more in your personal and professional life..but you must be focused.

3) Self-reflect to create a specific list of positive intentions for 2014. Ideally, you have 10 or fewer intentions and they are both specific and powerful. As you write these on a sheet of paper, connect with your heart, saying each one out loud. Doing this helps you to engage a number of your senses simultaneously – visual, sensory, feeling, auditory – adding to the benefit of the process. A bonus is that as you read your intentions, you may connect with new helpful insights, too.

4) Place your intentions list by your bedside. Review them regularly and see if there are any  insights to help you with your intentions. If there are, write these down also.

5) Through the month of January, review your list of intentions daily and then weekly after February 1st. If you reach any intentions/goals that are on your list, make sure to highlight them as being accomplished. Highlighting them rather than crossing them out will still allow you to review them if need be

6) Finally, say a prayer of gratitude – for your life and for the amazing potentials you have in this very precious world we live in. One can never have enough gratitude and it will also keep you feeling positive in your everyday life .

So what do you think? Are you going to create a list of intentions for 2014?
